Title: Scale and Stain control

Is the use of Scale and Stain control needed?  I have never heard anyone mention it.  I have had my Cameo for two years now and have always used it but not really sure it does anything.  It came with my startup kit.  The stuff cost $18 a bottle. I don't mind the cost if it is really doing anything. What are your thoughts?

It slows the formation of stains on the surface - from all sorts of things - and it slows the formation of calium. If you have never calcified your spa - where you let the pH and TA drift up a bit and a sandy film begins to build up all over - then you can thank your Stain and Scale Defense.

Cheap insurance.
