Title: Run hot tub with cover on.

would it damage the pump if you ran your jets with the cover on? or what would happen?

The scheduled filter cycles do exactly that.... no harm at all.

Just make sure that if you add chemicals to leave the cover open for the initial doses or anytime you add more. How long depends on how much you're adding.
