Guys, have a 2 week old J365 and the dealer is closed today. Have 4 sucction fittings in the footwell. Noticed last night 1 isn't working. It's on pump 2.
I'm not familiar with hot tubs yet but do I have to drain the tub to take a look and see if it is clogged or can I take it off and see? Looks like I need a screwdriver? Anyone familiar with the 2014 model?
Thanks

No need to take it apart, it's fine. It operates on a check valve, if the other one gets plugged, then it's designed to open up.

Thanks Jacuzzi Jim. Never noticed if it was ever on in the first place. When all jets were fired up last night I was touching the suction and 3 out of 4 were working and it was 1 of the 2 under the waterfall that didnt have any suction.

Thinking about it more, I believe it's an extra suction for pump one. With pump 2 running it should draw through 2 of them. Pump one pulls through the filter and one suction. If the filter clogs up or the other suction becomes blocked the check valve releases and allows flow through the one with no suction. 8)

That makes sense then. I just went in and when pump 1 is on only 1 suction under the waterfall is operating. When i turn pump 2 on then the 2 suctions on opposite ends of the tub are operating. So I guess like you said the second suction under the waterfall operates when it needs to.
