If your satisfied spending 3 grand for a 2 1/2 years out of a tub would you be satisfied spending 6 grand for a tub that lasts for 5? Or 9 grand for a tub that lasts 7? Or if yours lasts for 5 would you be satisfied with 10 years from a 6 grand tub?

But will you get the same comfort, energy usage, enjoyment out of the 3 grand new one as you do from the 9g 9yo tub?

prob not..but as ihave said numerous times..its all about expectations.

So to say there's anymore value from a 3000-4000 dollar tub versus a 7000-9000 dollar tub is absurd. And if I remember correctly there was talk of the value being good on a less expensive tub versus a tub that cost 3 times as much. Isn't that what steered your decision? When is fact it was simply "lower expectations".

Why bother with this?  If the guy likes his tub who cares?  It's all subjective so whose to say what's best for any individual?

Live and let live.  You'll be happier!

You don't understand. A bunch of people were stupid for purchasing a name brand tub at 3 times the cost when you could just do what he did and buy a 3000 dollar tub online that was just as good. At first he never said "good enough for me" I'm just trying to get clarification.
