I just took delivery on my Sundance Edison yesterday. Wiring was done at 240V/50A. I set the temperature to 102F at 2pm yesterday (water temp, 63F). As of 8 pm today, the temperature has only risen from to 96F. Aside from a few hours when either my kids or I went into the water (sometimes with the jets on), the lid has been on and the jets turned off. Overnight, the temperature did not budge more than a degree or two (lid was on overnight).
Am I doing something wrong?

If the settings are all correct then it will reach its setpoint.
I only have experience with my own tub, which seems to take around ten hours to get from hose water temperature to 102F.

That seems like a really long time to me. That spa should have been to 102 degrees in about 8-10 hours max. It sounds like in your situation, after 30 hours it still was only up to 96 degrees. I would call your dealer and have them check that out. If I understood your time frames right, then imo it isn't heating properly.

+1 There is something wrong if it's taking that long to get up to temperature.

I've owned 2 tubs. The larger one heated at about 4 degrees and hour. The newer tub, which is a smaller Sundance heats closer to 8 degrees and hour.

My dealer sent out a repair guy this past week. Loose wire (or something) to the heater was the culprit. Up and running and enjoying every minute of it!

O.K., that makes sense. Figured there had to be something wrong. Glad you got it fixed and are enjoying your spa!
