Title: Any recent experience with L.A. Spas? L.A. Spas Maui vs HotSprings Vanguard?

Hi--I am new and did a search but didn't see L.A. Spas mentioned recently or much.  We have been looking at Hot Springs Spas, focused on the Vanguard model, but met a dealer who sells L.A. Spas.  The price difference is significant for similarly sized tubs:
Vanguard for $12K and Maui for $7.3K.

It is such a big purchase and although the Hot Springs Spas is so well-known and regarded it seems, it is a multiplier more expensive than the LA Spas. 

Any recent experience with LA Spas?

I sold LA for a bit about 10-11 years ago.  They were a decent tub but had a lot of warranty claims.  The Maui is from there mid-lower series where the vanguard is more of a upper end tub.  You should be comparing the Maui pricewise to a hot spot from hot springs not a vanguard
