Title: Granular Bromine?

Does anyone know of a source to purchase granular bromine.  I have only been able to find 2 pound containers and would like to buy in bulk.  Rather than sending my empty spa frog bromine cartridges (yellow) to the recycle bin I have been saving them. Recently I reloaded several with granular bromine and they seem to be working fine.

Is there a certain type of bromine I should be using?  Thanks for any help.

The Spa Frog Bromine Cartridge contains BCDMH in granular form (same chemical as in bromine tabs).  However, most of what is sold as "brominating concentrate" is Dichlor (usually with sodium bromide) that reactivates a bromide bank to make bromine.

Thanks for your reply!  Can you direct me to a source of BCDMH in granular form?  I have pulverized bromine tabs to reload the cartridges but getting a consistent (non-powered) granulation is tough. Of course, the powder and fines disperse way too quickly and the ppm spikes.
