We are replacing our 15 year old Grandee Hotsprings (leaks, rot, bad plumbing). Considering 2015 Jucuzzi J-375 at $11.900 vs Sundance 880 Cameo at $13,218. Same dealer in San Antonio which includes cover, lift and chemicals, plus $500 trade-in and a additional 2% cash discount. My concern is complaints that I have read about Sundance LED lights failing. I like the larger size of the Sundance plus the extra blower motor. Any comments on these 2 would be appreciated.

Both Jacuzzi and Sundance are great spa's and owned by the same. I don't know what issues you have read with LED lights? But I wouldn't let it sway you. The 880 series is a step above the 300 series not by much though. Not sure it's worth the extra money. IMO 8)

We wet tested the sundance cameo and optima yesterday and were so disappointed.
The seats are not comfortable at all, kept getting pushed out and had to lean so far back for the headrest that I was in more pain getting out than getting in.
Jacuzzi has the most comfortable seats so far and really that's what its about - comfort.
Trying the Grandee from Hot Springs tomorrow and hoping its as comfy as the Jacuzzi!

Snow White, Having owned a Hot Springs Grandee for 15 years, I would not buy another Hot Springs or Caldera due to: wood frame that is under tub rots, all plumbing and jets are buried in hard foam insulation and must be clawed out to repair leaks, and all water lines are rigid PVC and not flexiable tubing like other premium tubs. At that price a tub should last longer than 15 years if maintained.

On the contrary, 15 years is a long life for a hot tub. The lack of leaking is precisely because the pipes are foamed in so they are not jerked around by the jet pump.
