Title: Install of heater manifold on Legacy Enterprise

I am replacing my defective heater manifold, which I have never done before. I test it and know it is bad (not heating). Do I need to drain the tub completely, or can I somehow block the water from draining while removing and then installing the new manifold? Thanx for your suggestions!
