Title: Caldera electrical connect question quick release connector

Neither the electrician or I can release the 5 wire connections inside my Geneva. We tried a number 12 wire in the tiny hole above the wires and we tried the slot with a slot screwdriver.

Any ideas would be appreciated. The tub was disconnected and moved to a new home and I just cut the wires.

Get a thin screw driver in the slot at the top and push up. Should open the door to release the wire. 
I have electricians struggle with this all the time I still have no idea how to explain it verbally or via typing.
