just curious...after it's all said and done you found your spa!!! how are most you folks paying for it??? bank, dealer, your rich?
your Great Aunt left you a small gift??

I'd say 95% of my customers pay cash (check). It may be that they have saved up for it, or have good jobs. What ever the case, I have very few finance deals. One of my customers a couple weeks ago was debating between their vacation to the Caymans, or a Hot tub. Despite my continual reminders that two weeks after you get back from the islands all you have left is fading memories, photographs and an empty wallet, whereas with a hot tub you have a vacation in your back yard every day, I think I lost :-[ to the islands :-[

Our purchase was part of a bigger remodel. We used part of our home improvement loan.

we are thinking of forgoing our vaction for a hot tub. Italy or hot tub hmmmm??? now don't think we are rich!! my man works for the airlines so that part is cheap...

Even if you have the cash you MANY use a CC to get the $5-9k in Frequent Flyer miles (or in my case GM bucks) and then turn around and pay it off when they get the bill. It seems Wisoki's customers still keep cash under their matresses.

Exactly what we did. Paid using our CC for the points and used the case that we obtained from a bigger remodelling/re-financing from our mortgage people to pay for the tub. In the end, every doby's happy. :D ;D

My spa savings = my spa budget
If I don't have the money then I can't afford it.
I was going to do the "CC and pay it all off" thing too but decided to negotiate the dealer credit charge as $$ off the price.

We did the same as empol says above...got dealer to take off 2.5% for a cash sale. We've been saving for about 2yrs and this year we are foregoing a family vacation and it will be our family Christmas in July. So, we are paying cash.

Took the 18 month no interest financing, and am making payments out of our regular income.
