Title: Question About Hot Springs
Post by: Chartreux on November 24, 2014, 12:27:27 pm
Are Hot Springs Spas made in the USA or Mexico? Specifically the JetSetter NXT?
My Husband was wanting to look at Hot Springs again...I get confused as to which spas ones are made in the USA.
Marquis says they are made in USA, but disappointed with them right now....

The Highlife and NXT's are made in California.  Limelight and Hot Spots are made in Mexico.

Marquis is made in the USA. Why are you disappointed in marquis?

I have another thread on that, could not get a wet test scheduled with the local Marquis dealer...been there 4 times and just don't want to waste gas and time again with them. Plus now with construction on the weekends it's hard to get up that way. No one spa hot tub dealer is near me, in this huge city and nothing close by...Not going to buy something I cannot try as that would be like buying a car without a tests drive...

That's right. So it's that particular dealer and not marquis itself

We had an appointment for today, as our local Hot Springs dealer was having a black Friday sale going on. We specific asked to try the jetsetter this time around as we don't have room for a big hot tub, last time we tried the Aria, it was big noisy and we couldn't get the jets to turn down last time. Plus it had a very hot spot near the foot dome.
This time dealer explained about the hot spot near the foot dome and gave us info on how to turn the jets down, so we went for our trial on the Jetsetter Highlife, not NXT...Overall it was a much better experience but the moto maggage was just too strong for me and with all the jets diverted it was still too strong, so very sorry...it just hurt and I couldn't get comfortable in the lounger. I gave it my best try in doing everything to make this trail work and no...sorry, Hot Springs but your moto massage hurts.

Size does matter as we have maybe 16 feet out the back door to the fence, with a small covered concrete slab.

I'm surprised. I've never really thought the Moto massage was that powerful. Are you looking for little pressure and more of just sitting in hot water?

Yes, something soft, gentle with a whirlpool effect, light pulsing is okay...but, no not just sitting in hot water...
Thank You

Check out nordic hot tubs if you have a dealer near by. They are fairly inexpensive but good quality that are known for whirlpool therapy
