Title: Does it help
Post by: Chartreux on June 19, 2014, 10:41:43 am
does it help to take a pool care class? I know a hot tub is smaller than a pool, but some of the same chemicals are at play and I just wondered if it would be beneficial when your planning on owning a spa to take a class? a local spa/pool place is having a pool care class soon.

Could be. I went to one when I got my pool and it was all about selling Baqua products which at the time cost a fortune (may still do).

If you really want to learn, I would turn to the Taylor booklet that comes with their test kits. Here's a link that apparently was a presentation on water care: http://www.njeha.org/Past%20Atlantic%20City%20Conference/2011%20Conference/2011%20-%20Conference%20Presentations/Basic%20Water%20Chemistry%20&%20Testing-%20Taylor%20Technologies.pdf
