Title: Jacuzzi J365 is HERE!!! Electrical Question
Post by: Trifecta on May 16, 2014, 12:48:05 pm
Well the 365 has arrived and the electrician is coming on Sunday to get us up and running. In the meantime I'm pouring over the manual to make sure all goes smoothly.

I have been prepared for the modification from the 50A factory setting to the 60A setting to allow the heater to run with both pumps. But enter my confusion.....I thought I would be making a wire move inside the control box to accommodate a 4-wire install, but appears I was wrong. The manual seems to indicate that even at 60A, it is still a 3 wire setup for this model. The move I thought I would be making applies to the convertible models.

So, what do I need to "configure" in order to allow this setup to work with my 60A disconnect panel?

Regards,
Mike

Answered my own question when I stumbled on the circuit board diagrams and see the logic jumpers....

So if I'm reading correctly, I will have the following setup for 60A, 2-pump, degrees displayed in F

1-2   OFF
3-4   ON
5-6   ON
7-8   OFF

Can't wait...!!!
