Title: jacuzzi question

My wife and I are ready to make our first hot tub purchase and have a question about filtration.  Whats the difference between water purification and water filtration? Isn't the water purified when it's filtered, or does jacuzzi do something differently with its clear ray system?

Jacuzzi mentions purification with the clear ray uv bulb.  So purification is the term they use for extra sanitation in the tub to help with the method of sanitizing your will be using; chlorine, bromine, or Nature².   Filtration is the just the two filters used in the tub.  That's the way I see it, anyhow.
