Title: Marquis or Saratoga?

I WAS going for a Cal Spa.

Browsing this BB has given me doubts.

Other dealers in my area carry Marquis and Saratoga.

I'm looking for my 1st, plain, simple, small hot tub/spa, HOPEFULLY under $3k.

Look at the EveryDay line of spas made by Marquis, if you have a Marquis Dealer in the area they should have some.

Check out the 212 model.

The local guy here (Georgia) sells them for $2,995 US.

They sell for £3595.00 here in the UK !
Thats around $6000 !

Wow!
I'd be curious to know what cost is to ship a tub from the west coast of North America to Europe.

I guess that'd be in the ballpark of several thousands of dollars.
I'd imagine there's some import and/or export tax included in that as well as shipping?

Marquis and thier everyday line are good products.
I am not familiar with Saratoga.

empolgation,
i work in import/export, so i reckon to ship something from the west coast to the uk via sea freight (which is always cheaper, but obviously over land first!!), you're probably looking in the region of about £1500  - £2000, based purely on weight....... which is what, about $2500 - $3500????  And that's not including import/export duties and taxes and stuff like like.....wow, you guys get a WAY better deal than us!

even more than I thought :o and I'm sure the duties, taxes etc. aren't a pittance either
... additional data to give one an idea of what markup can be...
