Ryan...what do you claim that swim spa to cost to keep at say 102 year round in that california climate? Also does that spa control temp in each section separately? And what if different temps do you recommend the temp in the swim side? It's a nice looking setup

Thanks Dune , The biggest advantage of the hydrozone is that you can heat the swim zone at 102 and keep the swimming section at 80 . I never tested it in California but in a much colder climate like Montreal ( minus 20 degrees ) , we noticed a 700 $ year round by keeping the pool section at 70 and the swim section at 100 . I would have to contact our custumers in California to see how much they have paid . I will ask them for night picture and will post them .

What is your cost per KwH?

8 cens per kwh , little bit more when it goes below -12

It has been tested into one of our custumer backyard on a separate electric meter , 8 cens per kwh , did not took note on how many time he soak in , he has set the swim section at 70 and the spa section to 100 the whole year . His cost was 689 $ from november 1st 2012 to october  31st 2013 .

6 part section 6 inches thick cover so yeah pretty huge , Covana is making an automatic swim spa cover lifter , it look very nice .
