Thoughts on Jacuzzi vs J-LXL? Any alternatives I should consider? Thanks.
-
The J-400 series and the JLX are completely different, what are you looking for? And welcome!
-
Looking to build hot tub into a deck. What do you see main differences between them?
-
Depending on what you are looking for in a spa? Difference wise looks, filtration, jetting, and size. The cabinet on the JLX is gorgeous, be a shame to sink it in a deck all the way, if it were say 50% exposed would look fantastic. Over all a nice spa for 4 people if you need more room then the J-470 or possibly the J-465 Which 400 mdl are you thinking about or comparing to?
-
Would probably get one that fits 6. What hot tub would you recommend for building into a deck?
-
Well you can put any spa in the deck, but I think a JLX is too small for 6 people, ask yourself how many people 90% of the time will be using it. If the answer is 3 to 4 then a JLX can work. If it's 5 to 6 I would go with the J-470 or the J-365 or the J-375 if you like the lounge.. Jacuzzi is revamping their 300 series line this year right now in-fact, so you can possibly pick a 2013 mdl up on discount. Just a thought..

Thanks so much. Any sense of when they will revamp their 400 line? What is your view on lounges?
-
Not any time soon. As far as a lounge goes, some people gotta have one, most don't. Also most second time buyers do not buy a spa with a lounge seat again..
Have you wet tested anything yet?
-
I haven't yet

I love the lounger. My first tub had it. My next one has it. :)

What other spas should I consider? This will be used built into a deck on a roof. Expensive install so want to make sure I get best quality spa I can. If it fails and needs to be removed it will cost many times the cost of spa to replace. Thanks.
