Title: 616 or blb error code on J-470

Still have a 616 or blb error on my Jacuzzi J-470. I disconnected the ozone while changing the fuse today. It has been on there for months. Not sure what to do to get it to go away.  ::)

 blb is an error code telling you it time to change your ClearRay bulb, it will pop up at approximately 1 year from turning on the spa.   I don't think you have ClearRay on it?

What is a clear ray bulb? And if I don't have one is there a way to turn the error code off?

There is a way to turn it off, but it involves pressing lots of buttons in the right order. I would quote it if I was on my home computer.  Download the manual and you will find the procedure in there.  I am still debating whether or not I am going to change my Clear Ray or not as my tub is about 15 months old. I have disabled the filter and bulb alarms.

  I have been telling people to replace it at the 2 year mark..  I so no reason to do it sooner, except the fact Jacuzzi and Sundance say so..

I have looked at manuals online and searched blb code on the Jacuzzi site. I don"t come up with anything on it or how to reset it.

Is Clear Ray Jacuzzi's name for their UV bulb?    Tell me where I'm wrong, but my understanding is that UV bulbs need to be replaced annually, as they lose effectiveness.

My tub does not have UV bulb. But I got the error code anyway.
