Title: Ice on Concrete Apron
Post by: stretcho on December 14, 2013, 12:54:01 pm
Just got a Hot Springs Rhythm installed in Maine.  It is COLD here, and I have ice on the apron at the front entrance of the tub.  How do you guys keep the ice to a reasonable level?  Obviously rock salt is out of the question.  I am thinking about a heated mat.  Anyone have any experience with those, which ones to avoid, which are the good ones?

Thanks
Ken

I'm in Ohio, not exactly New England winters. Ice is just part of the game. We just wear slip on footwear will get on the stairs and slip them off.

Use a rug and bring it inside when your done for the evening. Bring it back out for your next soak.
