I bought a used Sundance Altamar Hot Tub Last year on CL(it is about 6 years old) and put a new control board and keypad. It sat for 6 months before I got to it. The ribbon cable was chewed by something so i moved the connector by shortening it and it seemed to be fine for a while. It seemed to work ok for a month or so and now the second motor turns on and off by itself. The control pad at times have no effect like it is in auto pilot. The temp goes to 106 when I have it set for 99. Thanks for any help in advance.

disconnect the auxillary controller from the ribbon wire going into the control box, see if that correct the phantom triggers.
