My 2004 J-355 has Emerson Pumps in them.Wondering if they are good pumps, they seem very powerful.Johnny Thunders

To the best of my knowledge, Emerson doesn't make pumps - only motors.
There may be Waterway pumps on the ends of those motors, or AquaFlow, or Jacuzzi (The other Jacuzzi).

Sorry EmerSon

Johnny,
You just got the spa delivered and now you're worried about the pumps? Crack open a cold one, sit in your spa and relax.
-
The motors are Emerson....used to use AO Smith. You won't find any pump name.
-
well I know what i see and they are EmerSon,But anyway love the lounger, only the captain gets to use the lounger.Johnny Thunders

The pump is only the plastic part, the rest is the motor. Emerson motors are as good as any other.

Well maybe its the motors,I seen 2 and thought they were the pumps. They were in the front with the decals right in front of my eyes lol.I will have to open it up and see whats really in there,I seen the Cd Ozone is a jacuzzi that they put in at the store, just don't know why the company can't put the cd ozone on.
-
If I open up and look at mine, it says A.O. Smith (the motor). The wet end says nothing (that I can see). Together, they are "the pump".
The ozonator is installed by the dealer because of different ozone options. The spas come from the factory "ozone ready".

How many of the professionals on this board will it take to convince you that emerson makes motors NOT pumps. The "Jacuzzi" ozonater is a DelZone ozonater with a Jacuzzi logo sticker on it.

That first picture you've got there Chaz, is taken directly from the pre 2002 brochures. That was when the pumps WERE Jacuzzi®. Those wet ends are not used anyfurther, unfortunatly.

No need to tell me what emerson manufatures. It is a motor (electric that is). They also manufacture these motors in aprtnerhsip with other manufacturers to add such material as impelers to make it into a pump, but it is still an emerson motor and that is who Sundance would be buying it from, unless thay had a supply from a sub. But it is not known as a pump. it is a motor. My Optima has Emerson Motors in it. It clearly says so right on it. Don't know what would have been in there in the past, but that is what is in there now.
Here is the link to emerson BTW. for those of you that are interested in what they manufacture.
