Title: Jacuzzi Spas
Post by: dazedandconfused on June 02, 2004, 10:54:52 am
I looked at these spas.  Whats the deal with that ugly, bulky cover over the filtration intake?  It just does not look smooth as in other manufacturers.  Moreover, how about that 'fish net' that I guess is supposed to capture large debris?  That net has got to be a pain to take out and try to clean ??

Any thoughts?

I dont mean to sound negative - just my observations.

I just had to reply.  I've had a Jacuzzi J-370 since July 2003 and the filter cover and net are two great features.  Yes the cover is bigger/bulkier than others but it gives a nice smooth finish to the tub when it is installed.  You can very easily sit with your back against it.  Removal of the filters is real simple and quick when the cover is off.  And the netting catches everything from hair to bugs to small pieces of leaves etc. and is very easy to remove and clean.  Just turn it inside out and run it under the faucet.

Many spa brands do not incorporate a basket or net to catch large debris leaving the filters to fight the smaller particles and oils.  saves some time and hassel with the main filters.

I've had my 370 since November and love it. After about 1 month, I realized how much I appreciated the netting. I think it's a great feature and agree with twok. It's very easy to clean.....
