Beachcomber or Jacuzzi
-
Which Beachcomber warranty are you asking about?
-
:oWell I did not know that there are more then one warranty :o.
I am looking at the 740 Beachcomber and the J-365 Jacuzzi
-
Yes - they have a standard warranty and an extended warranty.
Here is a blurb from the web site, but PLEASE be sure you get every detail on this before you buy, from whoever you choose to buy from
"We offer a Lifetime Structural Guarantee,
a Five-Year Total Surface Guarantee,
a Two-Year Equipment Guarantee,
and a Premium Guarantee that extends your 2 year equipment coverage to 5 years.
See your local Dealer for Details. "

What there warrenty states in there catalog (both Jacuzzi & Beachcomber) are very vauge. I was wondering if anyone had some info on there fine print. The main reason I ask this is the sales person said that you have to be careful about the Jaccuzi warranty when infact the Beachcomber broucher states a 100% worry-free guarantee. When a sales person is trying to sell me a hot tub over there compeditor based on warranty I thought I would see if some one has had (or heard of) a problem with any warranty issues from either manufacture.

As Chas mentioned, get a copy of the warranties prior to the purchase. It's as easy as asking your dealer.
I haven't seen Jacuzzi's but with ours, it is a straight forward guarantee not a warantee. You won't need your lawyer to comb over this one! ;)

Visit the corporate web sites of the spa makers, perhaps you can view the warranty there. I know that Sundance has it's full warranty on their website, so it would suprise me if Jacuzzi didn't.

Talk to the sevice techs for both of the dealers you are shopping. Decide which tech you would rather have service you spa if it was ever needed.
While a good warranty is important, it means nothing if Zeke from labor ready is the one performing the warrantee service.

your dealer should be happy to give you a factory copy of the warranty for the Jacuzzi, which is the front side of an 8.5"x11" piece of paper. Jacuzzi has five years standard on equipment and controls, five years on plumbing, Seven years on the surface, ten years structure. No pro-rations,no deductibles, and trip charge can vary by dealer. Read both warranties and ask questions if you do not understand terminology.
