Title: six by six
Post by: chk1313 on January 20, 2013, 10:15:06 am
Does anyone have suggestions for a tub when my best location will be six by six feet?  I saw a Hot Spot DX or SX (I think), but am concerned about the quality, especially the jet power.  Are there higher end spas that size?  I only need a two person spa.  Much appreciated

re: the SX, the quality is there, "high end" features are not (its not meant to be high end, its meant to be an affordable spa)...and yes you are severely limited on your tub selection if you only have a 6' x 6' space...99% of the smallest high end tubs are going to be over 6' in either width or length...5'8" x 6' 4", 5'5" x 7'...etc etc

Is the jet power noticeably weaker on the SX than a Hotsprings or other high end maker?

no....Hot Spring's uses proper jet to pump ratio on all of their models, you won't find a 100 jet 2 pump spa like you would see at Costco or similar

Agreed. The SX is a nice smaller spa with some of the bells and whistles skipped to help keep the price reasonable. Its built to last and the jets will feel good, check it out.
