Hi I wonder if anyone can help, we've been looking for a new hot tub for a few months and cant decide which way to go? We are either looking for a second hand one or one of those on eBay such as the one in Scarborough which build new hot tubs and use Bilboa controls. Are these any good and if so are they cheap to run?
We're looking for something sitting 5 or more (preferably 6 or 7), something economical is very important and something reliable. Can any one please reccomend any makes/ models we could keep our eye open for?

This board loves to give advice on new tubs, so I'm sure you'll get responses. But, while you wait, use the board's search function for "new tub" and you'll get dozens of recent threads with the same information/recommendations on which questions to ask yourself, which brands tend to be stronger performers, etc.

Hot Spot model "Rhythm"
Jacuzzi model "J-235"
both "value" tubs from 2 great manufacturers, both should meet your requirements with seating for 5-7 (depending on the size of the bodies) while at the same time not breaking the bank

Agree, these are FAR better choices than taking a huge gamble on internet or eBay spas which do not have a good reputation.
