Title: Tiger River Bengal M Hot Tub IQ2020
Post by: Jixer430 on October 25, 2012, 01:56:24 pm
I have a Tiger River Bengal model M hot tub that I recently aquired. The IQ 2020 Control box that came with the hot tub was bad. I recently installed a new IQ 2020 Control panel. There were some new upgrades to the new box but I hooked the control panel up as the diagram instructed. I turned my hot tub on and have power to the jets, light, and circulation pump. The heater on light is illuminated on the control panel but my hot tub is heating very slowly and is hovering around 84 degress. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated as this is the first time I have owned a tiger river hot tub.

That kind of temperature is usually just from the heat given off by the circ pump.

I would test (or have tested) the heater. Be sure you have pressed the reset button if your heater has one!!

Thanks Chas. The main part of the circuit board had a relay out on the original board. My heater and heater board worked great. I was told by my local spa dealer that I should have replaced both thermsisters as well. I replaced both of them yesterday so I guess I will see what happens.
