Title: concrete slab

does your concrete slab have to be reinforced with rebar or wire mesh ? weight of tub water and people around 6200 lbs

YES! Reinforcement prevent settling or shifting when cracks occur (Reinforcement does NOT prevent cracking, it simply maintains the the flat surface).

It's a good idea, and may be a code in your area, to electrically bond the rebar as well.

yup...rebar and/or mesh and relief cuts if needed, and like someone stated check local codes to see if bonding the slab/hottub is needed
