Title: Sundance Cameo Chemical Options & Pavers
Post by: pgezee on April 30, 2012, 11:07:28 pm
Greetings,

I've decided on the Sundance Cameo, the dealer wants me to wait until Memorial day sale.  It comes with Clear-Ray, and according to the specs he printed, an automatic brominator.  He never mentioned it, and I didn't see it on any websites.  I was planning on having chlorine, but wanted to reduce chemicals if I could figure out what would do that well.

I'm looking for opinions on what setup to use with Clear-Ray.

I am installing it on the ground in the backyard on pavers on top of dirt and gravel.  I will try to level surface.  Any advice on self-preparation?

Thanks for any comments!

The "automatic brominator" is just a spot in the weir in front of the filter that you can put bromine tabs.  It eliminates the need for a floater.  If you want as few chemicals as possible, then chlorine would be a better choice over bromine, as bromine is supposed to be in the water at all times and chlorine is primarily added after you are done using the spa.
