Title: Electrical lighting question

Hello, New to the site and this is my first post.


I recently bought a money pit (newbie craigslist purchase) however its coming along and almost done...lots of leaks, but the rest of her is in working order.

My question is, i want to instal one of the multi colored LED lights. However it clearly says will not work with dimmer.

My tub is a 1997 Sundance Cameo 850..with a dimmer on the light.

Is there a way around the dimmer or what will happen if i do install the LED with the dimmer?

Before you go that route, use the tub for a while.  We never use the lights on our tub.  Watching the stars and the privacy of being in the dark outweights the lights
