I was quoted $10995 for the 2011 j480 which is fully loaded minus the speakers which I was told was on sale for $600 (jbl speaker system). I think this is overpriced. Wanted some feedback on the price. I wet tested this model and liked it. The Sundance Cameo is a close second. I was quoted $10000 for it without stereo. Any thoughts??

Prices are up to the dealer to decide. Obviously, the more turnover a dealer has, the more they can cut their costs. For that model, I would say it is a hell of a great price. In fact, I'm surprised they are not selling it for more... a lot more. That is an awesome spa, and especially if it is fully loaded, you can't go wrong with it.

I think Jacuzzi is a top brand but I'm usually not as big of a fan of the 400 series only because they're typically much more expensive than that so it sure sounds like you got a good price.

The Sundance's Cameo line should be compared to Jacuzzi's 470 series, right? The 470 will also be several thousand dollars less. I think people are still buying them around the $9K mark in certain markets and even a few sold under that price point.

They're pretty comparable, but you price is off. If anything, the 400 series will be higher (for the most part.) I can tell you, I would have to be going mad to sell a J-470 a $9k, or even $10k. Jacuzzi/Sundance has yet to transfer their J-1000 controls found of the J-400 series to the Sundance 880. Plus, the inner volume and seating capacity will be quite a bit roomier and larger than the Cameo. I would say the J-465 is more like the Cameo.
