Title: Is it safe to leave power to a jacuzzi spa with fl1 error?
Post by: smilin66 on March 27, 2011, 02:29:36 pm
Hi. We Drained our spa, cleaned and refilled and now have this fl1 error.
we have tried everything listed in this forum so we will have to call our
very unresponsive spa people. Problem is the weather is not good and we are
afraid it will freeze before our UNRESPONSIVE spa people even return our
call, let alone show up. Is it safe to leave it on? Thank you! ???

sounds like an air lock,,, very common in all brands of hot tubs,, may need to purge the circ pump

If you can hear the circ pump running it's probably just a airlock, if not it might be a bad circ pump or something else.   Sorry you have had trouble with your dealer.

And Jacuzzi would rather you deal with your dealer, but I know if you yell loud enough Jacuzzi will listen just have to get to the right person.

Thank you all for your advise. We are in Grand junction, Colorado.
Much to our shock and amazement the error has gone away after many, many
pump purgings, filter cleanings, on off, with filters without. Funny thing
we have found about our dealer is they don't call you back. Last time something was wrong,
we actually had to call another company to get our tub serviced as no one anwsered the
the phone or returned messages, yes messages. It's unfortunate but we will never buy
another Jacuzzi brand tub again. One thing after another with that thing. Now I ramble....sorry!
Thanks again all for your help! Tammy
