Always looking for new and innovated ways of presenting products and information to people, I came up with something new, yet again (like everything else I've been the first to implement, "everyone will probably copy it in 6 months ;D ).
Any way, not sure whether it's as cool as I think... or is it obnoxious?
Would love some opinions (just put your mouse over the image of the product);

Haha, I like it.

I say cool Doc. It is often difficult to do a rapid ID on something you want on the internet. Especially if you are trying to replicate something you have. My example was: I bought spa shock instead of enhanced spa shock because the bottles look identical. The difference is the little word enhanced under the label..So I think it is good to have those bottles (or whatever jump out at you)... ;)

Sell the technology to Enzyte, Extenze, or some of those other weener enhancement companies. It would be a perfect match.

Can you make it work on the POD???? :D

I give the image enhancement a big thumbs up, too. With the resolution increasing on LCD panels, images are appearing smaller and smaller. I'd like to see this every where!
... and I second Spatech t.u.o. - that would be a real bonus! :o ;D

Page Load Time worries me a bit as there's almost a meg worth of images.

I think it works as long as the viewer isn't on dialup ... yeah there are a few of them left!
-
I like it. How'd you do that?
-
Very cool Doc. I think you're in the wrong business. Can you patent this?
-
You can do something similar with PHotoshop. My son did a slide show for a community presentation. Using a still photo, you can zoom in to a section or the entire slide. It really looks cool as a transition. CHRIS...Cn you demonstrate on here?...

Its cool. Not obnoxious. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Pretty high tech looking, impressive.

Very nice effet. Not sure it's the first time I've seen it on a website.
Doc, do you sell 07 Sundance Optima microfilters?
-
Guess I'm the only dissenting opinion.
I didn't think the increase in size added much (the image was still too small to see much detail) and I found the overall effect a little distracting.
I have seen other sites where hovering popped up a larger image. I found that helpful.
Merry Christmas from the minority view...
