Title: vacation chemicals

We will not be using the tub for 15 days, what do you suggest to keep it chemically close so when we get back we do not lose the water.

What are you using now, Chlorine or Bromine? I generally suggest you turn the temp down while you are gone, hot water goes bad much faster than cooler water.

Whether its bromine or chlorine, either way I'd add a couple tablespoons of granular chlroine, lower the temp and when you get back it should be in good shape.

I second the message about granular chlorine and lowering the temp.  That should be good to hold it while you're away.  You might have to rebalance a bit when you get back but it shouldn't be anything major and it would likely depend on how picky you are on the water    ;D
