I was quoted $8,000.00 plus tax for a 2010 J-365 with stereo, cover, cover lift and steps, can this be beat?
-
Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a great price, certainly not one that is too high. Where are you located?
-
Central Illinois
-
Around here that's a really good price!!!
-
That is a good price. If you get it you will enjoy it. We have been in ours every night since we got it.
-
I acknowledge that it is a good price but the place that is offering this deal is a big chain store and from what I have been told has terrible warranty service. Will Jacuzzi honor the warranty if you have to go outside the dealer you purchased it from?

There are several J dealers here who could provide some insight. Is there another dealer in your area you are aware of? See how close they can come in price. Its my guess they would honor the warranty, but charge you a service call for their travel expenses.

Call Jacuzzi customer service and ask that question.

If you do that, I'd love to hear how that goes.

We know the general answer but I think sometimes its best to get it directly from the horse’s mouth. If they call customer service they'll get the official scoop on how things work but I think most of us know the dealer is responsible for service and you may not be able to simpply go to another dealer or independent guy unless there are extenuating circumstances and even then you may want to first talk to the manufacturer’s Warranty-CS department.

If there is another Jacuzzi dealer relatively close, they can be authorized to work on it if you are not happy with service from the company you purchased from. However as mentioned they may possibly have you pay a trip charge, entirely up to them not Jacuzzi. If it's a chain type store/dealer I doubt there will be another smaller Jacuzzi dealer within the area.
Curious who said they had bad service, a consumer or another dealer?

I would always go to another dealer to get insight on their competitor's service. ;)
-
I purchased it today I hope it is a good one (trouble free)
-
If you call Jacuzzi and ask for an authorized service center other than the place you bought from they will definitely find you someone to make you happy.

Congratulations, I hope it works out well for you. When do you take delivery?
-
They are to deliver it Saturday January 8 2011,I'm ready with the exception of the wiring which I will take care of beforehand so all I need to do is connect to the tub and fill it up.
-
Filled it up today, everything is good but had to thaw out the circ pump to get rid of the flashing F1 code, evidently they don't drain these well from the factory
-
Cogratulations on the new tub. We wet tested the J-365 this weekend and although we thought it was nice, we liked the Sundance Optima better. Also the price you got on this was really good, because I were quoted $8500 for the same set-up here in SE Michigan.
