4" of snow, that means a nice quiet neighborhood when we go soak tonight. Of course it means a lot of cleanup first. Got to get done before the game tonight, haven't decided if I'm cheering for Texas or Alabama.

Depends on whether the left or the right side of your back hurts after shoveling

We got about 6" out of it up here at our place. This brings up a question for me, being this is my first winter with the tub...I've been keeping the deck area out to the tub, and the cover of the tub, cleaned off regularly in case we decide to tub on short notice. When I cleaned the 6" off this morning, it struck me that the snow would probably be a good insulator for the tub, so maybe I should leave it there? Course, that would mean I'd have to clean it off just before tubbing. I'm curious what you all in snowy climates do...do you keep the snow off of the cover, or do you clean it off only when you're headed out to tub?

After a snow fall, the first thing I do is push the snow off the cover with the snowbroom pictured below.
