Title: Plan your blue moon soak for New Years
Post by: Bonibelle on December 29, 2009, 06:56:40 pm
December 31st this year will be a Blue Moon...So if you haven't been using your tub...jump in and you'll be telling the truth when you say that you only soak Once in A Blue Moon   :D :D

I just saw that on the news tonight.  Two problems however...1) it's predicted to be about 15 degrees here that evening, which will make an interesting soak.  If there's no wind, who knows?   And 2) it's cloudy most of the time here in winter.  Could get lucky though.

A coworker, knowing my knowledge of astronomy, asked me to explain why the moon was going to be blue.  He was so dissapointed with the explanation.

Last night was the perfect night in Colorado Springs. Got in the tub about 11:30. Beautiful clear skies, the full moon, temps in the teens.Watched the fireworks on the summit of Pikes Peak at midnight. Then one of the best nights sleep ever. 2010 is going to be a good one.
