Post by: willow on October 09, 2009, 02:50:11 pm
we were all set to buy a new jacuzzi 365 when I found a used one on kijiji. It is 3 years old and never been outside. Includes steps, lifter and cover, no ozone. Is 4700.00 canadian a good price? ???

1) Only buy used if you are able to see it with water and fully operational. Run away from anyone with any excuse as to why it is not sitting there for you to test it. No exceptions IMO even if its from your minister who only used it on Sundays and emptied it last week when all was still working well.

2) The warranty will NOT transfer.

3) What does that go for new? Do they have any paperwork showing what they paid for it? I'd say a 3 yr old fully operational spa from a spa owner should be about 25-35% of what they paid new depending on make and condition (more if from a store where they give can check it out and give a 60 day warranty).

Thanks, new with everything under the sun except stereo, even the garden lights, with taxes is just under 10,000.00. Plus we get the year end tax rebate of 1350.00 offered by revenue canada.
