Title: Dynasty American Series Liberty
Post by: michalbugno2007 on September 06, 2009, 07:58:15 pm
Shopped around this weekend and I think we've finally settled on a hot tub. Wanted to hear any opinions on this tub or manufacturer. The dealer was great and seemed honest. They priced it out to ~8500 for everything but electrician (tub with all options, chemicals, steps, cover, pad to place tub on, delivery). Well too late now  ;D. Will have it either friday or monday. I'll try to write a little review once I get some time to mess around with it. The one thing I hated was the topside control, maybe ill get used it.

Hi, I'm sorry I missed your post over the holiday.  This spa is very similar to mine (feel free to check out my link)  Mine is now 6 years old and overall we still love it and use it 5 nights a week on average over that period.  While there are many things we love, I see they haven't corrected one thing I don't like. I consider the wrist jets totally worthless.  One is 3 inches higher than the other making it impossible to sit comfortably and use them both at the same time.  I find them worthless and noisy anyway, so no big loss.

Two other deficiencies I would be curious to see if they still exist in this model.

1. The two jets that are one either side of the main foot jet (which is great) are poorly plumbed so that almost so water gets to them, no matter what the pump or diverters do,  so basically two worthless jets. Let me know if yours are different.

2. The foot jets in the lounger are poorly placed so that they only hit your heels. (This may be different, let me kmow what you think.

Again, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I hope you will come back and let us know how it goes for you including how your dealer treats you, and let us know how it goes for years.

Yes our tubs look almost identical. I never thought the wrist jets would be any good but maybe ill be pleasantly surprised. So far the dealer has been great, will report back once the tub is here. Also I am beginning to wonder what is $2000 worth in the Neptune line vs the American. American has 8 more jets but doesn't have the LED jets or silver around the speaker (two minor things, people cover the LED jets anyway LOL). Also im not sure if my tub has the extra air pump but those things certainly aren't worth 2000 to me.

Dry a Submerged Phone
So your phone got all wet? You might be able to rescue it. Here's how.

It got a good one hour bath. The battery is dead and it costs as much as a new phone. I'll have to figure out what to do next.
