edge of America
on a barrier island about 2 miles back from front beach
that night of the pictures you could hear the surf pounding the beach sounded like the roar of a jet off in the distance
we look a lot like southeast Texas
got room on the smoker for a couple of nice fillets
about 30 minutes from here we have lot of swampy slow flowing Lily pad covered fresh water flowing into the ocean looks just like in your picture on the fresh side .
then with in a couple hundred yards the banks turn to a salt marsh like in my pictures.
striped bass go from inland lakes swamps out to ocean to come back to lakes and swamps to spawn
because of damming some were land locked and from what i was told here in S.C. were the first hybrid striped bass that were cultivated and ship around the country to places like lake Mead in Nevada and Utah desert.
