Title: My First Service Call
Post by: Swell-Tub on March 01, 2009, 10:28:48 am
I will have my first service call this Wednesday. The ozone indicator doesn't come on anymore and the bubbles disappeared a couple of months ago. Everything is under warranty except the $90 service call. I still think it's odd to pay for warranty work with service fees. Oh well what is one to do, it use to be the company that made the product would pay for the service call along with parts and labor.

Each dealer has their own guidelines to if they cgharde the customer the trip/service fee. Some dealers do not charge the customer this fee, which is an added benifit to purchasing from them. Most dealers get a very minimal amount for the labor, and it is paid with credit, not money.

I know it stinks, I purchased a used jeep with a bumper to bumper warranty that I have put 4000 miles on and have 3 "deductables" of $100.00 to pay, plus I have to bring it to them. Drives me batty!
