Title: Traveling Circus
Post by: Water Boy on February 20, 2009, 03:17:15 pm
Well looks like the annual traveling circus is coming to town again. Pretty sure this is it anyways since their is a Master logo at the bottom. But is says something about vendors sign up here, so I wasn’t 100% for sure. Also, when you click on about us, it is a blank screen. Huh, that is convient! ::)

Yeah, the Overland Park KS show is what I was talking about. Unfortunately I wont be able to attend. My sister who lives in Africa is back for the first time in a year. Otherwise, I would go check it out!

I love how everything works on that Masters of Deception show site except for the part where you click on "about us" which leads to nothing. What a shocker!!! Someone should picket those shows LOL!

We had them last week.  It's an actual dealer that came out in conjunction with Master.  Only catch is they're two and a half hours from us.  They also carry Doughboy Pools and spent their weekend here low-balling our prices but saying, "Well, we technically aren't allowed to see Doughboy here, but..."

They came with Vita Spas in tow as well.  Second year in a row they've been here.  Good thing most of our customers have seen through the shenanigans.

They can upate the location each week, but have nothing on the about us.  While the show is still "what it is" they have toned down some of the pure BS advertising they use to do. "Every major manufacturer".    Found another dead link on the site.  Go to Testimonials, and try to post a comment.

Well, their commercials are still misleading, as that is how I found out about them. I heard a commercial on the radio saying, "Pool and Spas show, every major manufacturer there."

Hey Bill...would this be the same one that is in Columbus this weekend? Are these a joke? I do have some time to kill and thought about heading up there.

Looks like this one is in Tx this weekend.  This show use to be part of a home at the Convention Center a few years back. Then the home show parted ways and this spa show next came to Vets.   The Home show at the State fair grounds is a pretty good one, no charlatans there.
