Title: 07 Optima headrests

Mine are starting to deteriorate.  Is this normal?  What is the usual lifespan for these?  Thanks in advance for the input.

My first set lasted three years.  My second set is now three and a half years old and still look pretty good.  I credit the longer life of the second set to either the non use of ozone (I disconected about two years ago) and/or the use of a foam blanket (I started using one a little more than a year ago).
