Title: hot tub filter process

I have a new hot tub and am wondering how the filter process works. I programmed it to filter every 8 hrs., my question is how long does  the filter process usually last (i have a 300 gallon tub). I"m asking bc it seems like  the jets are coming on pretty often and the tub temperature is at the temperature i have it set at.  I just don't know if it's normal for it to be running as long as it seems to be. What brand tub do you have?

Term has a wonderful flow chart that shows exactly how the filtering process works ;D
