Title: Not what I'd want to find
Post by: Vanguard on December 31, 2008, 12:38:46 am
Oh man, I'd hate to open my hot tub and find this   :'(:

The death of a woman found floating in a hot tub at a Friendswood home on Sunday appears to be a homicide, based on a preliminary ruling by the Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office.

Francisca Marie Calkins, 31, was found in the hot tub outside the residence where she had been living in the 200 block of Chester Drive near Sunset and FM 2351, Friendswood police said. Another person living at the residence found her body in the hot tub about noon that day.

After the incident was reported as an accidental drowning about 12:15 p.m., police and paramedics went to the home, but Calkins was unresponsive. Injuries on her body led officers to believe she may have been physically assaulted, Friendswood police said. It is not known how long Calkins had been in the water.

Based on investigative leads, police do not think Calkins' death was random or that it was a crime of opportunity. No further details were provided.

I might buy that hot tub as a spare or a gift. I bet it'd be really cheap now.

You may want to consider changing the filter before you use it..
