Title: Who owns a Dynasty Tub?
Post by: Rockdoctor26 on November 20, 2008, 05:36:46 pm
It seems like not a lot of people post about Dynasty tubs...I have a few questions to those out there that have one:

What kind of tub did you purchase?

What was included with your purchase price?
What was your purchase price if you don't mind including that?

Have you had any problems with it?

Have you had to use the warranty?  If so how did Dynasty or the dealer handle this?

Pros/Cons of owning your tub

Would you buy again?

I would check out the following BBB report on this business before any money changes hands.

Dynasty Spas- http://calgary.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=154&bbb=0017&firm=50442

I noticed that there are few complaints against the company out of Edmonton and a couple of others from other locations.  Have you owned a Dynasty spa Jordi?  I'm trying to find some opinions from some people that have owned a Dynasty Spa.  Are there any satisfied customers out there?

[glow]Excalibur 4000
Came with cover/lifter startchems delivery
A few all well handled under warranty
controller board at a year
pump at 3 years
Diverter at 4 years
One other flow sensor somewhere in there

Pros - comfort/ extreme therapy
cons - a couple of jets are poorly designed
original dealer went out of business, dealer blames Dynasty, Dynasty blames dealer, courts sided against dealer

Do it again?  I would have said no, but a reputable dealer picked up the line.  They would be on my list, but I would shop around. [/glow]

Calgary has a vast selection of spa dealers and I would take the time (if you haven’t already) to visit a few. Beachcomber, Sundance and Jacuzzi are the 3 I wouldn’t miss there. The Jacuzzi dealer in Calgary is one of the best in Canada and if customer support is a key factor, I would suggest a visit there first.

Dynasty…. I dunno…. I think theres better all around value...  ::)

And mine was just an opinion of one!  ;) It all counts but I believe a happy owner trumps a non owner of a specific brand. 8-)

I haven't owned one- but I have had people come into our store who have had problems getting service and advice after the fact. I agree with Steve, there are other brands that you should also consider before purchasing.
