Title: Heater Problem
Post by: Memories_Galore on November 13, 2008, 07:27:10 pm

Talk about being dumb!  Well I am.  We put clean water in the tub, did all the things you do when doing a water change, but low and behold, the water would not heat up to 100 degrees.  So I called the dealer, and they came the same day ( excellent service ).  They said it was working fine, nothing wrong.  The problem was, the temp was only set to 93 degrees, not 100 degrees like I thought.  Well, I sure felt like a fool.  Hopefully they will only charge me the service fee of $35.00 since they did not repair anything.

We have a 2006 Hot Springs Prodigy, we love it, and I can't wait to get in.

I truly think my grandson played around the temp control.  I know he was chased away from the controls several times, but I didn't think a 2yr old could change it, but maybe he did, we will never know.

Yes, the controls can be locked out or just the temp can be locked out.
