I'm going, but sorry, not strip clubs for me.  Unless you mean a New York Strip, then I might be looking - at the steak.

My plans are changing on a daily, if not hourly basis. Originally I had planned to fly in on Monday (morning) and leave on Thursday (morning). Now having full custody of my son.... I gotts to find me some child care. At this point, I'm hoping, at best, I might fly in Tuesday morning, and leave Wednesday late afternoon.. OK, I got one free night for the strip club! You're treat?

I probably wont go to one either, but thought I would throw it out there.  ;)

We are actually driving, we try to avoid the strip and most of the rest of the debauchery that goes with Vegas and make it a family fun Vacation. You wouldn't believe how many cool things there are to do as a family when you get away from the gambling.

I might be spending some time at the Spa Retailer Booth but I will be all over the show.

We stay at the Luxur. The Luxur and Mandalay Bay are connected, still a walk but nice rooms.

I would agree....but Term is going to have a tough time finding a steak that will live up to TX standards.

There are so many places to choose!   We have always stayed at the Mandalay or MGM, this year we went with NY,NY 140 a night with an extra night free.   Probably not the nicest but hey its just a room I think Mandalay was 190 per night still not bad for there.

Best steak not sure, Caesars is very nice just a bit to far for me, there is a tram that runs on the MGM side of the street so you could stay on that side and walk across to the Excalibur and take another tram past the Luxor to the Mandalay Bay?

The biggest thing I hate anywhere there is the walking, lots and lots of walking, with my messed up knee it just kills me by the end of the day.  But that's why there's vicodin ;)

Walking? Walking! Now that would cut down on my annual $500 cab bill  ;D

By the way, if you're taking a cab from your hotel to the show, have them drop you at The Shark Tank. That's always been the closest entrance to the show, by FAR

Best steak in my opinion is Charlie Palmer Steak, at the Four Seasons (attached to The Mandalay Bay).

Bone-in ribeye at Emeril's Delmonico steakhouse in the Venetian is best steak in Vegas IMHO followed very closely by the Chipotle glazed version of the bone-in ribeye at Mesa Grill in Caesars.  If you go to Mesa, you are required to order the Tiger Shrimp Roasted Corn Tamale.  It's actually a law.

I prefer Belagio to the Wynn, though Wynn is very nice.  Luxor is a nice economical option for the show since it's connected to the Mandalay.

This is making me hungry.  I may have to come out after all.  First round on you Doc?

I second this, both on making me hungry, and on Doc picking up the first round. :)

If we're talking drinks........ok, first round is on me...assuming I'm there long enough.

We can all sit at the slot machines, and I'll call over the coktail waitress  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I seem to have found a great little secret.  The Monte Carlo.  It is right next to NY NY .  It's not the biggest party casino but its a fairly nice casino.  $59.99 a night.

As far as steakhouses you have to try Smith and Wolinski's. Right on the strip.

Del Monicos Steakhouse is the best steak place.

Beware I took my wife there for dinner and it cost $260.00 for two. We did have kobe steaks.

When my family comes to town they stay at the Excalibur which is by the Mandalay Bay. I think they paid $69 / night

My job site is the MGM City Center project behind the Monte Carlo. I park at NYNY and Bellagio each day. My son-in-law works at Mandalay Bay, so I'm in the neighborhood if you need anything.

Swell....wasn't Caesars Palace completely renovated in the last couple of years?

When I stopped by there it seemed very nice and had a new feel.

This is a nice place at PARIS to have lunch, a cold beer, and people watch.

If you're taking a woman, she'll like it.

Be sure and ask for outside seating even if you have to wait.

It is always being renovated. We use to have a guy on site full time. Right now they are building a large addition. My favorite hotels are the Venetian and Bellagio.

Here's MGM City Center in the background and a very good place to eat next to a Hot Springs Spa.

Well, we just got our confirmations for the Mandalay Bay.  Looks like it's going to be me and our young service manager from Africa, Stephan.  He is a degenerate gambler and will probably be living on the streets within 2 hours of our arrival.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of you goobers out there and doing some nekkid butt-wrestlin'!
