Post by: benalexe on September 05, 2008, 09:12:56 pm
I have one of those nasty colds / caugh / asthma maybe bronchitis.  Basically it sux.  I was actually thinking of going in for a soak tonight thinking the hot water may make me feel better.  Do  you think it will or have the opposite effect?

You won't be instantly cured, but any time you soak..you feel better so I say go for it!!

I had something similar last week.  I also had a fever, which made sitting in a hot tub the absolute last thing I wanted to do.  But your mileage may vary.

My experience is if you think it will feel good, it probably will. However, I would soak alone, a hot humid enviroment is the perfect place to spread colds.
