Title: do check valves often go bad

Do ozonator check valves often go bad.

I am not getting any bubbles and I am guessing the check valve is bad.   does this sound right? Is it a common thing that stops the bubbles?
If it has been bad for a few months will it ruin the ozonator?

When mine broke, I got excessive, big bubbles.

you should check it once a year or so...it can easily go bad, ozone is pretty caustic
